Founder and Executive Director
Darya founded the Women Founders Foundation in 2017 because she is passionate about helping women succeed. Building on the success of the Junior Judge program through Women Founders Network, which she founded in 2013, she was inspired to create a Foundation dedicated to providing education on entrepreneurship to young women and girls.
Marissa Moran Gantman
Chief Operating Officer
Marissa is a founding member of the Women Founders Foundation team. She launched the Junior Judge program for the Women Founders Network in 2014 and has since helped the program grow and flourish, educating girls about entrepreneurship and investing. She brings a dynamic background in cause marketing and nonprofit management.
Mark mentors and advises entrepreneurs on finance, business operations, and fundraising, is an active angel investor, sits on the board of a variety of startups and nonprofits, and actively runs Supporting Strategies | Los Angeles which provides enterprise-level finance and accounting support to startups, growing small businesses, and nonprofits through an all-star team of experienced professionals.
Startup CFO, Countsy
Ronette is an experienced Startup CFO with operational experience in high-tech, ecommerce, and digital media businesses. She is a financial partner to Founders and CEOs with an emphasis on accounting, finance, human resources and operations. Ronette has a progressive career in private and public industries with a focus on planning, operations and financial responsibilities in startup and early-stage companies.
Regina Rosi Mitchell
Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation,
Marlborough's Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Upon completion of her Fulbright Fellowship which she spent researching girls' education in Mexico, Regina taught Spanish for ten years at Marlborough School in Los Angeles. Believing that girls become better leaders when exposed to entrepreneurial thinking, she founded Marlborough's Entrepreneurship Program in 2016. Regina now leads Marlborough's Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, which houses the school's STEM, robotics, digital education, media, research, and entrepreneurship programs.

She is a business connector and coordinates a Women’s Business Network, supports entrepreneurs and accomplished business leaders through the EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards, the LA Business Journal CFO, Nonprofit, and Women Leadership awards.
She is a Tradition Fellow and received her B.S. from Cornell University and her Certified Business Performance Advisor from the University Of Houston, Bauer School of Business.
Managing Director, Silicon Valley Bank
Vicky Regan is managing director of the corporate finance team for Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) in Southern California, where she helps later-stage technology companies keep their momentum as they grow. Her clients include cutting-edge internet, software and midmarket hardware businesses throughout the SoCal region.
Mimi Carter manages the operations of one of the top angel investment groups in the US; overseeing and sourcing the deal pipeline while evaluating early-stage technology ventures for angel investments including web and mobile, clean-tech, consumer products, SaaS and Enterprise Software, media, IT, and biomedical technologies. She engages and grows strategic partnerships with community organizations and other angel groups along with key venture partners.
United Talent Agency I UTA Foundation
René Jones is the Head of the UTA Foundation & Enrichment at United Talent Agency (UTA), a premier global talent and literary agency. In this capacity, she provides strategic philanthropic guidance for clients and employees and advises non-profit organizations on best practices for effective entertainment industry engagement and social impact. She is active in many causes, particularly involving women, children and the environment.
Heather founded Caspian in 2005, intent on bringing a strategic discipline to white-glove event planning. Today her agency produces successful projects for top level clients in the social good business space. A board member of the Social Venture Network and a past board member of CORO Northern California, Heather also created and founded SUREFIRE Girls as well as CEO-U, which focuses on helping women start and scale businesses.
Samantha is the Founder and CEO of Well Traveled. She is a passionate, creative and thoughtful marketer with a track record of developing and executing successful, strategic global marketing programs. Areas of expertise include: B2B and B2C marketing strategy, product positioning, go-to-market strategy, people management, customer relationship management (CRM), email marketing, content marketing and event planning.
Diondraya is completing her fourth-year psychobiology major and entrepreneurship minor at UCLA. Serving communities of women has always been her passion and she hopes to be able to do that in more ways than one throughout her life. The information she’s learned and her own experiences inspired her to write a workbook to teach young women about entrepreneurship and how the entrepreneurial mindset can be an asset in any aspect of life!

Madeleine Attar – Student Representative
Maddy has been a Junior Judge in the Women Founders Network Fast Pitch competition since the program started in 2014. She has done a variety of volunteer work both in Los Angeles and internationally, and has participated in Stanford Splash, a program providing youth a chance to take classes on the Stanford Campus, as well as ID Tech Alexa Café Summer Camps.
